Loving Embrace
"Taken on a very wet morning on the 25th May 2024. As a photographer when the weather suddenly changes I always grab my camera and head outside, the change in the weather can offer all sorts of photographic opportunities - clouds, mist, reflections, haze and also different insects and insect behaviour.
On this day, I went into the garden and had a look around, when I look at the trunk of the palm tree I saw these two millipedes mating on the trunk and had to get a shot of them.
This image is a series of images each taken with a slightly different focus point to give a deeper depth of field.
I really like how there bodies are intertwined and that there is almost an element of love and affection with their embrace."
