"This print is from a roll of black & white 35mm Film. This image was taken with my Grandads old Konica Autoreflex A3 Camera.
Taken in 2017 in Soho London on a narrow street this picture sums up a lot of what I like about graffiti and also what most people don't like about graffiti. Its not uncommon to hear people say "oooh I love those big murals, but I don't like those squiggles on the walls".. For me, one comes from the other, those big murals on the walls are as a result of tagging, without the squiggles on the wall you wouldn't have the big murals.
Whilst I'm pretty confident with my opinion of graffiti theres lot I like about this image, the old 'Sprinkle Stop Valve' sign, the intercom and the fire alarm really work for me"
